Dicks in epoxy primer is coming on nicely, Karen's is now the only imp in the workshop as the rally car job was canceled as was the stiletto so I took the opportunity to give the floor a coat of paint ,if your looking to get done on your classic car drop us a call ,the rebuild on the mk1 is gathering pace and a nice 998 engine has been purchased by the owner so it should make for a nippy little car , enjoy the weather all

For Sale by a friend car has been rebuilt into a late shell which is wrong ,it comes with an early shell which he has done any rust repairs that were needed using ex pressed steel panels, shell needs painting ,engine is unknown but it has a sport head so could be 875 or larger , car and shell are located near Oxford ox10 is post code area ,price is £12,500 for the lot

It's been a busy few weeks at the workshop and then racing in mondello park and then oulton park , Dicks imp sport is off for painting at our new paint man Smartaway in Hailsham, The mk1 of David and ollie spellman is well under way on the rebuild ,Saturday's race in mondello seen bren take 2nd and Mike was 7th ,Sunday race was a reverse grid which mike was on the front row and took the lead and lead until the 2nd lap both imps ran great with bren chasing the leaders till me made a small mistake out the back and decided to lift off and save his car and had a dice with Mike, bren taking 7th and Mike close behind to take 8th ,massive thanks to mondello and Leo Nulty for the invite hope to come over again next season , bren has been busy working on Karen's coupe which is now starting to look like it should, With two major restorations cancelled due to what ever reason there is now spaces to get your car in if your looking to have it restored ,Then it was on to oulton park a new one for many of the drivers , qualifying was damp and getting wetter and the rain man put his car in 4th on the grid but better was to come later in the day , race 1 was wet and james made tge most of being up in 4th and put the imp on the top spot ,bren went from 16th to 5th with Adrian in 6th ,race 2 and james on pole done the double bren finished 6th and Adrian had gearbox issues ,Steve had a nice spin and gerry finally got a full race in after breaking his crank in race 1 ,dave Ellis enjoyed himself sliding around not sure where he finished ,have a great weekend and enjoy the sun

Nine year ago today I started out on this venture to go full time restoring my favourite little car and what a great journey its been . Quiet a bit has changed I have lost a few good friends in that time and then made some more and then to have brendan join in learning the trade has been fantastic .These are a few of the cars from the past nine years and a massive thank you to all our customers and the wife for putting up with my obsession in these little cars im a lucky man I enjoy my job which is a bonus

It's been a busy few weeks and some weekend work on the camper van , ollie spellman mk1 is back from painting so needs fitting up now ,dicks is not to far off being finished and will be off to paint shop soon , Karen's Californian is coming on but its a bigger restoration than was expected but its getting there , we have been making a floor chassis for the camper van as the timber floor was rotten and after a good race meeting at cadwell Park were off to Park in just over a week for the festival so looking forward to being back at a track i grew up at and hopefully bren enjoys racing over in Mondello, kers hope the good weather is here to stay for a few months 6 will do me ,take care all

It's been a busy few weeks at the workshop, vince frost imp sport was painted and we dropped it back up for vince to get busy building it up ,while up in Wales we took a trip to Ireland to see the mother and father and popped in to see Alastair Moore and was great to see his imp parts delivery van out on the Toyota forecourt, Then today I popped in to do a spanner check on Sam Wright imp sport and an oil change on the engine all was good and sam loves driving the little

I would like to thank all our customers past and present you know who you all are .This year has been a busy one ,starting off with Richard Tompkins Hartwell imp all back together, then a new weld in cage in Michael Loveland race imp .Then Alastair Moore collected his chamois and headed back to the emerald isle ,next we done a few repairs on Adam Lobb imp and had it painted for him ,during all this we were restoring a mk1 and a imp sport ,then the big accident at Brands Hatch happened the 1st car in was Steve Platts ,next was james im awaiting a picture of it finished from james ,then came Ed Carter, oh and while in-between the race car repairs Andy Gills imp got damaged along with Peter Doherty so both needed near side rear wings ,so we have completed a few imps this year and the mk1 and the sport are just about finished ,also some work was done on Ben Beuret imp over the year ,I have now pulled my own car in so Christmas is going to be a bus man's holiday as they say but I need to get it back on the road .Thanks to all who have helped with supplying parts needed for all the jobs ,malcolm anderson, graham anderson, Bob Picton, lesley for interior stuff, Robin Human, ex pressed steel and and our paint shop ,imp club spares and MJK Blasting ,I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year
