🏛️ From the Alto Archives – The Painted Hall, Greenwich

A little piece of Alto history rediscovered!

We've uncovered these photographs of an unusual aluminium access installation inside the magnificent Painted Hall at the , Greenwich – which celebrates its 300th anniversary this year.

The specialist arrangement incorporated four supporting towers, a large elevated deck and a further mobile tower with a cantilever configuration above.

A fascinating example of how aluminium access equipment can be adapted to meet the challenges of working within historic buildings.

Rail LIVE setup day complete! 🚆
It's been a busy day getting everything in place ahead of the show opening tomorrow at Long Marston.

The team has installed our roof access stand, side access and rail maintenance pit cover, and it's great to see the stand ready for visitors.

Events like Rail Live are always a fantastic opportunity to meet customers, industry colleagues and rail professionals from across the sector, and I'm looking forward to some interesting conversations over the next couple of days.
