As soon as this TR3 engine was delivered to us, we knew it was in desperate need of some attention. Once the cobwebs and murky brown water/oil was drained we got to work. Although work is ongoing, it's easy to see how much of a difference has been made already.

It's great to hear James May getting so excited about the overdrive on his famous Stag featured in the final episode of The Grand Tour!
There's an unconfirmed rumour that the car was fitted with one of our gearboxes when it was restored prior to James' ownership. We'd love to find out if this is true!
So James, if you're reading this, why don't you come and pay a visit to our workshop and tinker with some gearboxes, and we can take a look at your Stag (if it's a sunny day, I know it doesn't come out in the rain)? We think you'd be right at home!

⚙ Daimler Gearbox Rebuild ⚙

We recently had the pleasure of rebuilding a Daimler Dart gearbox that had some suspected damage. Whilst we love a classic with a bit of patina and a few stories to tell, when the lay gear teeth start to look like the aftermath of a pub brawl, it is definitely time for intervention.

The worn and damaged components were replaced and the result is now a Dart that's gear changes are as elegant as the rest of the car.

If your classic is starting to get vocal upon changing gear, it might not just be expressing it's personality but pleading with you for assistance. Since it's the month of love, why not treat your gearbox to some overdue TLC.

🐾 Meet George - Customer Service Representative 🐾

As today is National Love Your Pet Day, we're delighted to introduce George! George loves welcoming clients, getting his paws oily, inspecting gearboxes and shredding important paperwork. He can often be found curled up in the warm office or eagerly awaiting to greet customers and the post man at the shutter. At only 8 months old, he's our youngest team member but an absolute asset!

As expected, last weekend was a fantastic few days away with the TR Register Youth Group for the annual Season Opener! We were back up in the Peak District in style, gracing the roads with a stunning mixture of cars.

During the main drive on Saturday, we experienced what felt like every type of weather imaginable. With rain, snow, sleet, hail and blue skies to top it all off - proof that cars of all ages can still brave the British weather!

There's many more events hosted by the TR Youth in the calendar this year, so if you're interested please get in touch with the club for more information.

An all round fantastic experience at the NEC Classic Motor Show this weekend. A big thanks to everyone at the Triumph TR Register Car Club and of course the TR Register Youth for giving us the opportunity to display our TR4 & of course the TR3 Beta.

It was amazing to see so many old and new friends at the show. The turnout was truly astounding!
