A precision lifting operation in Slough saw the Logic team putting the Böcker to work on a specialist glazing installation.

Working across two positions, large glass panels were carefully lifted and manoeuvred into new window frames using a glass sucker with counterbalance attachment - ensuring maximum control, accuracy, and safety throughout the operation.

Another rooftop transformation completed by the Logic team in Huddersfield.

Using a Spierings 4-axle tower crane, we safely removed an ageing chiller unit along with associated scrap materials before lifting a brand-new replacement into position.

With restricted access, live site conditions, and heavy rooftop plant to manage, careful planning was essential from start to finish. The 2m lifting beam ensured a controlled and efficient operation, keeping the project moving safely and on schedule. 👊

🕷️ BASEMENT TO ROOFTOP. OLD OUT. NEW IN. 💥

The mission? Remove existing plant equipment and replace it with new - all while navigating a multi-storey car park basement, a rooftop storage area, and multiple lifting operations in between. 👊

Ducting, fan units and attenuators were first palletised before being transported from the basement to the roof using a telehandler. From there, the spider crane took over, carefully lifting everything into its final position.

Then it was time to reverse the process - lifting out the old equipment, palletising it, and transporting it back down for removal from site.

A lot of moving parts.
A lot of planning.
