Perforated metal might not be the first thing you think of when you look at a light fitting, but it can play an important part in how that light performs. 💡

The pattern, hole size and open area can all be tailored to suit the application, helping to control light diffusion while giving designers plenty of scope to create a particular look.

We work with lighting manufacturers to produce perforated components to their requirements, whether that’s supplied as a flat blank or fully formed ready for the next stage of production.

It’s a good example of how something as simple as a pattern of holes can have a much bigger job to do.

Why manufacture our own tooling? Because it gives our customers more options. 👍

Not every perforated product uses a standard pattern, material or specification. When a job needs something different, we can design and manufacture the tooling ourselves to suit it.

That means we can accommodate bespoke requirements, make changes when needed and maintain control over the tooling throughout production.

It also removes the wait for an external tooling supplier, helping us keep projects moving and respond more quickly when requirements change.
