A look back at this year’s Demo Day with our dealer partner, 👏

As every year, we took a little time to visit Phil and the team in Devon and see a Gyru-Star screening bucket in action.

This time, the spotlight was on our 4-100HE — a lightweight and efficient screening bucket designed for excavators up to 10 tonnes. Mounted on a Yanmar machine, the bucket provided a great demonstration of its screening capacity and True Screening® technology in a real working environment.

The video also offers a little glimpse into what was a fantastic event, bringing together great people, machinery and practical demonstrations.

Until next year! 👋

September is here, and the show season is still going strong. 🍂

With the peak of summer behind us, our global dealer network is preparing for another busy month of exhibitions, demonstrations and industry events across the globe.

From agriculture and construction to quarrying, recycling and landscaping, our dealers will be showcasing Gyru-Star screening buckets and demonstrating how True Screening® technology can help operators recover more material, improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary waste directly onsite.

If you have been meaning to see a Gyru-Star bucket in action, September could be the perfect opportunity to meet your local dealer, explore the range and discuss how the right screening solution could work for your machine and application.
Keep an eye on our channels and your local dealer’s updates to find out where Gyru-Star will be appearing next.

📌 Save the dates. We’ll see you at the shows!

August ending🍃 means that the peak of the season is slowly but surely behind us.

Despite the summer heat, our dealer network has continued to make its presence felt at some of the main events across the UK and throughout Europe. It is wonderful to see the effort, dedication, professionalism and knowledge our dealers bring to these events, and to see that commitment reflected in the regular shipments heading out to projects all around the world.

One of the highlights of this month was definitely another shipment to Japan 🇯🇵, which we documented in a separate reel. It is always exciting to see Gyru-Star making its way to another part of the world, and we hope there will be plenty more to come!

As always, a huge shoutout to our team, working hard behind the scenes to deliver excellence; to our fantastic dealer network for representing Gyru-Star across so many markets; and to everyone helping to make material processing more efficient and sustainable.

And just as we start to wind down from the summer season, September is already looking busy, with our dealers preparing for another round of shows and events across Europe.

Bring on September! 🍂

Bigger screening equipment is often associated with higher productivity. It is a common assumption that a larger bucket, larger carrier or higher-capacity screening system will automatically process more material and therefore deliver better results.

The reality is that screening productivity is not determined by equipment size alone. Instead, it depends heavily on how well the screening solution is matched to the material, required output, carrier machine and conditions on site. 👇

1️⃣ The Bucket Must Match the Carrier
A larger bucket is only an advantage when the carrier can operate it effectively. Gyru-Star models are specifically optimised for defined carrier weight ranges, so choosing a bucket that is correctly matched to the machine helps maintain stability, hydraulic performance and overall screening efficiency.

2️⃣ More Capacity Does Not Always Mean More Productivity
A larger bucket can hold more material, but that does not automatically mean a faster or more efficient operation. Bucket size needs to be considered alongside the material being processed, required screening specification, site conditions and the number of cycles required. Gyru-Star’s extensive range is designed to provide an appropriately sized solution rather than forcing one model across a broad carrier range.

3️⃣ Site Access Can Matter More Than Bucket Size
On restricted, remote or difficult-to-access jobsites, a compact screening bucket can be significantly more practical than larger dedicated screening equipment. Because Gyru-Star buckets work directly from excavators, loaders and skid steers, operators can take the screening capability wherever the carrier can go — allowing material to be processed exactly where it is needed.

Simply put, the most productive solution is the one that allows the available machine capacity to be used effectively while maintaining consistent material flow and screening performance.

We hear this all the time. 👀

At first glance, it is easy to assume that the polyurethane stars inside a Gyru-Star screening bucket are simply too soft to withstand demanding applications. In reality, their flexibility is one of the key reasons True Screening® works so effectively.

These distinctive yellow stars are designed to separate material efficiently across a wide range of applications — from compost and glass to bricks and other demanding materials. When operated correctly and by a skilled operator, they can keep going for years with minimal to zero maintenance.

So, what is the secret?

The Gyru-Star polyurethane stars are manufactured from a specialist formula developed through decades of experience in the crushing and screening industry. They are engineered to strike a careful balance: flexible enough to respond to the weight and movement of the material, yet sufficiently hard to maintain effective screening performance.

This flexibility is fundamental to True Screening®. Rather than crushing or shredding the material, the stars create a continuous floating and agitating action that keeps material moving while gently separating it according to size.
This combination of material engineering, practical design and controlled separation sits at the heart of our screening technology.
