🏭 Successful Customer Visit to Italy

Recently, our Operations & Sales Director, Andrew Guy, accompanied a UK customer to Italy to visit a manufacturing facility operating advanced Kitamura machining technology.

The visit gave the customer the opportunity to see Kitamura's high-technology 5-axis, multi-pallet machining capabilities in action, demonstrating the precision, productivity, and reliability these machines deliver in a demanding production environment.

We're delighted to say the visit was a great success, with the customer deciding to proceed with the machine, which will now be making its way to the UK and joining their production facility in the near future.

🍒 A sweet ending to a successful trip!

To round off the trip, the factory owner welcomed the group to his home, where they enjoyed the hospitality of his family and were invited to pick fresh cherries from his orchard – a memorable end to a productive and successful visit.

A big thank you to everyone involved for their time, hospitality, and support. We look forward to seeing the machine installed and helping our customer realise the benefits of this impressive Kitamura technology.

🤝Correa machines and DTS Expand Customer Partnership

Waukesha Bearings, part of Dover Corporation, has recently purchased two new Correa machine tools in partnership with DTS, the UK distributor for Correa.

The investment builds on a long history with Nicolás Correa S.A. technology that includes five Correa machines, purchased by Waukesha Bearings between 2007 and 2010.

The two new machines will further enhance Waukesha Bearings’ precision machining capability, supporting its ongoing commitment to quality, efficiency, and operational excellence. As part of Dover Precision Components, Waukesha Bearings operates at the heart of performance critical manufacturing for rotating and reciprocating machinery, where consistency, accuracy and long term dependability are essential.

The partnership was highlighted recently at MACH, where DTS Sales Director Andrew Guy and Pedro Galarraga, Area Manager, Correa, met with Crawford Cullen, Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager, from Dover Precision Components to reflect on the long-standing relationship and the confidence behind the new order.

Speaking at the show, Andy Guy said:
“For a customer to come back more than a decade later and invest again is the strongest endorsement you can have. Those original Correa machines have delivered year after year. This latest investment is a testament to the importance of long term partnerships built on trust and performance.”

Commenting on the investment, Crawford Cullen, Global Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Dover Precision Components, said: “This new equipment will enable Waukesha Bearings to expand manufacturing capacity and to better meet our customers’ needs. We value our partnership with Correa and DTS and look forward to working together to deliver this investment and to future projects.”
