We are extremely proud to now be a supplier to Dave Fishwick from Bank of Dave with our safety Nets for his bespoke luxury Dave Fishwick minibuses.

Having met with Dave and his team, we have created a range of rapid fit/rapid removal Load Containment Nets.

Our designs will protect both the driver during loading and unloading and the passengers during emergency braking or frontal impacts.

Manufactured from the exact same technical textiles and rated hardware that we use on Defence, Tactical Law Enforcement and Land, Sea and Air Rescue Units.

Working closely with Dave's team from sales to specialist vehicle converters we can create multiple bespoke options for drivers, passengers and their cargo.

We are thrilled to see our products included in the list of bespoke options for their mega high quality builds.

From initial talks with his team we have created a range of products and Accessories.

PS. If you you haven't seen his two films, they are well worth watching. A great man with a great story.

Our Motorsport division caters for many disciplines of race vehicles as well as race support vehicles.
From the Dakar and TT to the Baja and Finke Desert Races, to 4x4s and side-by-side buggies to HGV tractor units and now to a Dragster race team.

The one thing they all have in common is the requirement to transport all manner of vehicles and related race support gear safely and securely from HQ to meeting and back again, sometimes that's in the UK and sometimes it's European wide or shipping to Australia, the Americas, Africa, or Australia.

Our latest project saw us working closely with our client Ian Armitage from Banks near Southport.
Ian is the proud owner and driver of this absolute weapon...

So this dragster is known as,
A Nostalgia Dragster
A Slingshot
A Front Engine Dragster
Back in the 40’s and 50’s this was the original design but it became obvious that it wasn’t safe as when engines exploded drivers were hit by engine parts and burning fluids so this design was banned from competition by Americas governing body the NHRA. The current dragsters have the drivers in front of the engine and the engine at the rear, a safer design but not as visually pleasing.
So far we’ve run 1/4 mile in 8.8 seconds with top speed of 147 mph. In layman’s terms that’s a 0-60mph in under 2 seconds. Ian's current goal is to reach 150mph!

0-60 in under 2 seconds often on just the back wheels with no clear line of sight as you rocket down the strip foot pinned firmly down.

Now that's an adrenaline rush right there!

Due to the long tubular steel chassis, we supplied a set of straps to pin down this manic projectile.
There are additional end straps not seen which also secure it whilst in transit.

Throwback Thursday...

Here's one of highest OCR - Obstacle Course Race jobs we supplied our nets for.

This Beast was a 3 Net obstacle for the Bear Grylls course.
Named "The Mountain" this one had 2x nets from floor to top on the far side and 1x net on the left hand side.

See the Land Rover Discovery in the picture for height reference.

From design to hand delivery and install, this really was a mountain.

For anyone who attended this event, did you come down the "chicken route" or down the "tubes"???

Not all of our Heavy Duty products are vehicle based.

Our nets and straps have been used for all manner of non vehicle related applications.

From production lines and warehousing to Climbing Nets and obstacle course races to our latest addition.

Our client who uses us to equip his various vehicles approached us to create something bespoke and just a little different.

Based upon sleeping platforms we supply to the overland Truck and Adventure Camping trailer industries, we created a full size Hammock for when he is lounging in the sun within the grounds of his manor.

(Perfect timing with our current climate).

Manufactured from our heavy duty "Burst Proof" mesh sheet, usually reserved for military and rescue units, this is a seriously tough piece of kit.
The adjustable straps allow the user to rapidly adjust the tension and angle to suit his needs.

We are known worldwide for our vehicle Load Containment products but our product range goes far beyond load containment.
Seen here is one of nearly 50 vehicle lifting nets we created for an MoD Project.
Tasked with fulfilling a last minute urgent request, we swiftly turned the order around to maintain a critical supply chain deadline.
These nets are placed onto the floor and vehicles are driven onto them to lift them from dockside to aboard various marine craft operating in small and often makeshift docks to be close to their operations.

Safety Net Sunday

Last year we were approached by the BBC to design a set of Safety Nets for their camera operators in Botswana.
The factory standard steel doors prevented them from leaning out and panning around following their subject.

Our Safety Nets are designed to have flexibility so the operators can lean on them and pan around to grab the perfect shots.
The nets are also height adjustable for shorter or taller operators via a rapid release operation.

Supplied in kit form including all mounting hardware to suit each vehicle.

The nets can be seen on the newly commissioned Season 2 of the the BBC's "Big Cats 24/7" series.
Filming has now finished and it is scheduled to air in August this year.
