We’re currently using the 𝐋𝐌𝐒𝐑 𝐑𝐢𝐠 to carry out 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘓𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘯, supporting the design of proposed structural alterations.

A 𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭 of the LMSR Rig for this project is its modular setup, which allows us to overcome steps and narrow access, as well as position the generator outside the shop to mitigate the risk of fumes within the working area.

We have recently been working at 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡, carrying out 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 ahead of piling for the construction of a 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞.

Plate bearing tests are essential for assessing working platforms, crane outrigger pads, piling mats, and some temporary structures. They help to:

✅ Ensure Ground Stability – Prevent ground failure (such as bearing capacity failure, excessive settlement or subsidence) by verifying the ground or working platform can safely support the intended load.

The team are back drilling in a potato field in Preston to assess the ground conditions for a 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐞 to power a factory and the local area.

The location of the wind turbine had been moved to the opposite side of the field, so we were undertaking a 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝟑𝟖.𝟓𝐦, accompanied by 𝐂𝐏𝐓 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 on either side.
