All parts can be finished in the treatments required by the customer. Parts can be machined on most materials, from solid, from castings and forgings and therefore cover most areas of component manufacture.. QUALITY AND INSPECTION OF MACHINED PARTS. Prior to commencement of production, all new parts will be sampled, and submitted to the customer for approval with either a First Off Inspection Report or full PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), offering material certifications, Appearance Reports. Inspection facilities include CMM measurement, geometrical tolerance measurement, surface finish and hardness testing, should the customer require it. In addition parts will be controlled using Control Plans, Work Instructions and any other documentation that may be required. SPC (Statistical Process Control) can also be used to control critical features.
