It was given to us by a very nice local guy, to fix up our own drift car when it had a crash....

So we are giving away free parts to fix up your MX5

Take what you 'need', but please don't take the p**s.

Its done 60k miles, and is a 1.8 VVT

All I need off it is the heater box and rad fans.

Everything else is up for grabs...

Here's an old quite rare 2 door Daimler which had been sat in a garage for 35 years.
It was put in there for a service and a very small amount of rust treatment.... but never came out.
35 years later, it was pretty rotten.
Judging by the interior, the car would have been pretty much mint when it was laid up.

The fuel tank had leaked, so the whole garage smelt of stale fuel.
It took a good few hours to get it out, as the garage was at the end of a narrow driveway, which the truck couldn't fit down.
The brakes and steering were seized, and the car was pretty fragile.

It ended up donating its interior and outer trim parts to another car which was being restored.

This is one of those cars where the owners were 'going to do it up one day'.... but never did... and it ended up a wreck.

Here's quite a good find, an RS2000, not the 4x4 version unfortunately... but when we put this up for sale, it sold instantly, the guy put a deposit on it within the first hour of it being advertised........ then couldn't raise the rest of the cash, so it went back up for sale. The current owner is restoring it :)
