Shout out to Danny Wilson and the team, who together raised funds for a local Preston charity The JJ Effect CIC who every year raise funds to help support knife crime in young adults, children in need and Alder Hey.
Together the team raise funds to make a business donation of £250, and between the management team and workforce raise an additional £485 towards Christmas.
Today the guys proudly handed over eight Amazon tablets and a range of selection boxes.

Team work… recently the team worked together with Lancashire County Council, Lancashire police and Yunex to move this mighty transformer across Preston / Penworthham.

We had one team removing street furniture in front of the transformer and one team reinstalling all street furniture once it had passed to ensure the highway was as safe when we left as it was at the beginning.

Due to recent company expansion, we are looking for Highways Operatives to join our growing team, based at our site at Walton Summit, Bamber, Bridge, Preston. This role will require you to be available to work on sites across the North-West.

For this role, we are searching for someone with experience of working within highway engineering fields, preferably with specific experience of delivering highways maintenance schemes and new construction schemes.

As this role involves working on the highway network, we also require someone with an awareness of Health and Safety Legislation pertaining to highways maintenance and traffic management.

𝑨 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏

We just wanted to say a massive thank you and a huge well done to some of our staff members from Hurt Plant Hire and JJ O'Grady's, as well as some members of Lancashire County Council, as they rescued a woman from a burning building in Burnley yesterday.

The teams saw that a building had smoke coming out of it, and quickly acted, stacking tables together to reach the second story of the building and helped a woman escape as the flames billowed below.

What an absolutely fantastic effort from the teams, saving a woman's life, clearing the connecting businesses, diverting pedestrians and making a safe route to the fire for the emergency services.

We are extremely proud of all members of our teams that were involved 💙💪
