Job squeezed in and finished off today. Customer had had this repointed and badly by his plaster. Smearing the face of the bricks and the pointing wasn’t up to much. So we have raked out and repointed. Had a go with brick acid to try and get the smears off but probably needs a stronger dilution. Customer said he’d sort that tho.

Day 5 in pilling side pretty much finished apart from a little section. Front more than half ground out. Wash house front done and back repointed just got a lintel to replace round the back. Then I can crack on with the lintel and repointing on the front.

Day 4 in pilling and the grinding out is nearly there. Had a full day on it today probably another day to go then time to replace a lintel on the front and round the back and repoint it also gave the side a good jet wash where I pointed before the weekend
