Welcome to South Coast Wakepark, the Solent’s only dedicated Cable Wakeboarding facility. Developed to introduce beginners as young as 6 years old to this growing watersport as well as providing professional coaching for all participants. Weather you are attending your first ever taster session or are a veteran of the sport, tailored coaching is provided with every session. Cable Riders can look f

orward to a variety of begginer and competition standard park features. Here at South Coast we can offer all the equipment and coaching riders need to have a great experience out on the water.

LAST MINUTE UPDATES FOR KING OF THE CABLE 2026 !

👑 Park is open all day till 1930 on the Friday for riding and to drop off your gear.
👑 Leave your kit at the park in preperation for the events on Saturday.
👑 Car share, get the train or bus or even ride your bike. Let try and limit the carpark chaos !
👑 If you do plan to drive, fill it with friends and get to the park early to tey and get a parking space !
👑 Bring everything youll need for a day at the park ! Bring a chair, dryrobe, umbrella, make yourselves at home !
👑 Bring a change of clothes for later on in the day after we wrap things up at the park for some post match Celebrations in town !

WHAT'S GOING ON AT KING OF THE CABLE 2026 !

A busy day jam packed but here is the quick run down.

👑 0830 - Cable is open for Practice laps.
Board in the que, and get a few laps 5 min max.
👑 Midday kicks off the Party!
👑 Pro Riders Demo !
👑 Main KOTC Comp!
Kicking off with Groms, Ladies & Mens. Rookie through to advanced.
👑 Bonus King of the Kicker Comp.
👑 Podiums
👑 After match Celebrations in town.

👑 All day the brands will be joining us with trade stands all new gear, products to buy, as well as bringing the vibes !

PARK PREVIEW FOR KING OF THE CABLE 2026 !

This is the layout for this years KOTC Comp.
We are pretty happy with how the park has come along over the last year. With new features and new Hacks !
In our opinion, the park has never been better ! And we hope that you feel the same !

Start scoping out some lines, working with the coaches to get those runs dialed in, and finalising those hits in time for the comp, 5th September !

🌱To Celebrate World Earth Day 🌿
22nd April

We wanted to share a big project we have been working on ! 🐟🪸

We are slowly trying to restore the lake to its orgional beauty and quality with the use of Natural solutions.
See here our Floating wetland project.

This project has been 3 years in the making ... starting the project through frustrations of water quality related closures, we knew there was a way to clean up the lake and increase Biodiversity to allow the lake to not only maintain quality, but to thrive !

We have worked on this project with so many amazing people so far !
Funded by Southern Water, in Partnership with the University of Portsmouth, Installed by BioMatrix & Expert Advice from Rayner at Fathom Ecology.

And we have really only just started !

You can keep up with all things Floating Wetland with Keir of Portsmouth Uni by giving his page a follow.

He will be studing and documenting this project for the coming years.

We will continue to post content on our socials about the project and what we have planned next !
Its been a long time coming but this is the first big step in the right direction.
