𝗣𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 🏃🏻‍♂️

Some members of our team travelled to Stormont on Friday to take part in NI Chamber’s first Stormont Run Around, raising money for Cancer Fund for Children.

Alongside businesses from across Northern Ireland, we tackled the 5K route through Stormont Estate before catching our breath over a delicious barbecue at Stormont Pavilion with colleagues and friends.

It was a great way to finish a busy week, crossing the finish line for a great cause and supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Thank you to NI Chamber, event sponsor Kingsbridge Private Hospital Group and media partners Irish News and Q Radio for bringing everyone together and hosting such an enjoyable event.

Before becoming SAM NI, we operated as JW Kane Precision Engineering for over 30 years.

In 2019, we joined Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing Ltd and became SAM NI. This gave us access to wider expertise, greater resources and international markets.

From a sole trader founded in Portadown to part of a global aerospace group, we remain exceptionally proud of our roots.

Today, we continue to build on our engineering heritage, manufacturing high-quality aerospace components from our home base in Northern Ireland.

At SAM NI, we're recruiting for a 𝗖𝗡𝗖 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 to join our 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 at our Portadown site.

You’ll receive full training to operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machines and manufacture precision aerospace components from aluminium and titanium. Previous CNC experience is desirable but not required.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:
🔵 Preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto CNC machines
🔵 Reading blueprints and engineering drawings
🔵 Translating instructions into CNC machine commands
🔵 Monitoring machines and making adjustments when needed
🔵 Measuring and inspecting finished components
🔵 Carrying out preventative maintenance checks
🔵 Finishing component edges using hand tools
🔵 Completing process sheets, NCRs and job cards

Farnborough International Airshow 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗯𝘆!

We can’t believe it’s already the final day of Farnborough International Airshow 2026. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stand and spoke with our team throughout the week.
