And that’s the last day for me in the workshop for a couple of weeks operation on my hand tomorrow morning. New turbo, service and front brake pads for PT cabs. Door repaired for a Morris minor. Custom handrail for a local. Caliper, backing plates, track rod end and handbrake cables for NPT Handyman and chassis repair for a Mitsubishi L200. Still plenty of work to do so hopefully I won’t be off for too long.

Still playing catch will be in the workshop on weekends and over Easter as I’m having an operation on my had on the 13th...

Still playing catch will be in the workshop on weekends and over Easter as I’m having an operation on my had on the 13th April so trying to get as much work done as possible. Ford connect sill repair for MOT, CT Lewis Ltd there forklift alternator belt snapped and damaged the fan new parts fitted and back working, Jaguar XF wheel nuts rounded new set of wheel nuts, Iveco Horsebox for rear under run bar and gas bottle carrier then to finish off 2 sets of gates for a double driveway entrance.

Another manic couple of weeks Subaru Impreza in for new sills and suspension mounting turrets, down to Celtic Auto Group Mitsubishi renew exhaust flexi and sill repair for MOT, CT Lewis Ltd ladder mounted to crane and rear hydraulic ram leg mount snapped fabricated new one and welded and a little trip to Cardiff for Alpha food services rear axle shock absorber mount snapped off axle new one fabricated and welded at customer’s premises.

Every week seems the be getting busier and busier full service for NPT Handyman on a Sunday as Lee is extremely busy throughout the week so no down time and no loss of work collected Sunday evening ready for work Monday morning. Trailer repairs and another scrap bin in for refurb for Ammanford Recycling. New fuel tank and bump stop for Tube Access Scaffolding and vw caddy in for EGR and DPF delete with a straight through exhaust system. Still many jobs to go so will be in the workshop on Sunday to get them vehicles back on the road.

We are now proud to offer shipping containers converted into wherever the customer wants whether it’s a bar 🍻 burger hut 🍔 or even a man cave we supply, convert and deliver the container. This container has been done for Gorseinon Rugby Club to serve hot food and drinks during match days with a serving hatch, foldout support counter and sprayed in there home colours cherry red.

It’s been an extremely busy couple of weeks and doesn’t seem to be going quite anytime soon so will be in over the weekend. CT Lewis Ltd Joe Lewis small section chassis repair on one of there trailers and front gate post replacement. Down to burry port to weld a couple of RSJ’s on an extension. Sam’s Tyres Shamsul Huda recovery vehicle hydraulic ram crossmember snapped new one fabricated and welded in to place. Ridgways Coaches Darren Ridgway luggage compartment floor frame couple of support bars corroded renewed ready for painting and undersealing ready for MOT test.

I hope everyone has a good Christmas and new year been extremely busy over Christmas and new year and work hasn’t slowed down into the new year. CT Lewis Ltd Joe Lewis 8 wheeler DAF in for new crossmembers and additional support brackets on the body bed, modified the body around the fuel tank to gain access to put fuel in when carrying a shipping container. Recovery vehicle in for rear support bars as the recovery body came off an Iveco and now on a Mercedes. BMW locking wheel nut snapped removed for customer and Citroen DS3 needed recovery due to front spring snapped and damaged tyre, recovered back to the workshop new spring and tyre fitted, customer also wanted the exhaust silencer changed and a full service worked yesterday (Sunday) to make sure the vehicle was done for this morning for collection. Now offering vehicle collection for repairs if your vehicle isn’t roadworthy.

Happy new year to everyone tomorrow will be final preparations and organising ready for another busy year but will be back in the workshop on Friday with plenty of work to do. Thank you to everyone for your support.

Merry Christmas to everyone and thank you to all my customers for your support this year especially to CT Lewis Ltd Joe Lewis for the workshop couple of days off to recharge the batteries and to give the weldering machines a break will be back in on Monday as unfortunately santas elves can’t help me out 😂

Busy week just before Christmas CT Lewis Ltd Joe Lewis new rear LED marker lights and brackets, Chain repair on there hiab unit support leg and 2nd axle brake pads on there 8 wheeler DAF. Ammanford Recycling another scrap bin in for refurb all repaired and resprayed. Up to Cardiff to XL freight to repair a trailer leg mounts and then the one and only NPT Handyman exhaust pipe heavily corroded and snapped going onto the silencer new stainless steel section welded in another week done. This will be my first Christmas on my own as self employed just want to say thank you to everyone for there support especially to CT Lewis Joe and Colin for the workshop I really do appreciate I will be open between Christmas and new year as I’ve got a lot of work on so if anyone does need any welding repairs I will be in the workshop.
