Workshop and showroom is open today, but we may shut a little earlier as the afternoon goes on, depending on how bad the unit gets.

Tomorrow is going to be a much more reasonable 22C. I can't wait! 😄

When it comes to comparison between powerchairs that are capable both indoors, and off-road, the FourX DL stands alone. No other all-terrain powerchair has the same capabilities, both outdoors, and inside.

Even down to the warranty and guarentees offered by other powerchairs... their 'lifetime guarentee' they boast is actually just for the expected 'life' of their powerchair before they consider it unrepairable Off-road powerchairs like the Extreme X8 have a 5 year 'lifetime of frame' guarantee- but the FourX DL has a ten year frame guarantee as standard, and most of all, we don't consider your FourX DL to need replacing at 10 years, because it is possible, with the correct care and maintenance, for your FourX DL to be fully operational for many more years to come!

Why spend £13k upwards on a powerchair you can only use outside, that the mnaufacturer expects you to replace in 5 years time, and that you can't even use on most of the conditions you purchased it for (according to their own user manual!)! This is a professional refurbishment by Able Mobility Solutions- we are a manufacturer- authorised retailer and qualified in maintenance and repair specifically for the FourX all-terrain powerchairs by the manufacturer Moventuras (formally known as Chasswheel). We use genuine manufacturer-authorised parts, and this bespoke FourX DL all-terrain powerchair includes a 3 year parts and labour warranty, plus 10 year frame warranty (subject to terms and conditions), as well as batteries, charger and extensive driver training on delivery to you!

At this on-the-road price of £9750, we are including powered backrest, powered length-compensating footrest and CW4 seating solution- saving you thousands from the RRP!

This FourX will be reconditioned for your specific needs at ordering- just like a brand new one, but at a significantly lower cost!

Wow, I can't believe this was 9 years ago! 😃

Richard using his FourX DL all-terrain powerchair on LLantrisant common, helping out on a stall for a re-enactment event! Gorgeous sunshine back in June 2017, and the day was only possible thanks to the incredible capability of the FourX DL over not only the common, but also in the cobbled town square, and uneven, hilly streets of Llantrisant!

Until Richard got his first FourX DL all-terrain powerchair, we'd had to stop going camping and attending English Civil War re-enactment events for several years. His NHS wheelchairs just couldn't cope with the bumpy farmers' fields we'd camp on at all, and trying to manoeuvre over uneven ground just caused him too much pain, too.

The FourX DL all-terrain powerchair took away all the problems- and made it easy on difficult terrains- the FourX DL is perfect for uneven muddy ground- from deep mud, to long grass, even over roots and branches!

And of course, your FourX DL can be used all day, indoors as well as outside, so unlike other 'off-road' powerchairs, there's no need to change tyres or wheelchairs when you're ready to go inside!

Some adverts for mobility products attract absolutely vile comments from a subset of people who seemingly hate to imagine someone who uses a wheelchair being able to be more independent.

Disability is the only minority group that anyone can find themselves a part of.

Just because the product isn't for you now, doesn't mean it's not going to be something you will need in the future.

It's probably too much to ask, to request anyone who is targeting adverts for mobility products in order to spread abusive or unpleasant statements about the product, or about disability, to actually think about that one day it could be them. Especially when they don't seem to realise their full name is next to whatever nasty thing they've written- so their family/friends/boss etc also can see what they've written too.

I delete/report/block, but I wonder if I should screenshot and repost sometimes... 😆 I get the feeling they wouldn't like that!
