"A great charger, for getting a 7kW 32 A charge (often the limit at single phase supply found in domestic property), providing you have installed a simple 32A BS4343 socket outlet (often called a Commando socket).
Completely does away with the need for a 'wall box' charger, that usually costs many times more than this charger lead and having a Commando socket installed. Also does away with the need and usual faff, associated with the Apps usually needed to make wall box chargers work.
Is very easy to use, with good control box on the lead, allowing at a glance you to select actual charging current, time delay to when charge starts, and at a glance status of the charge, such as energy transferred to the vehicle, actual current draw, mains voltage and charge time elapsed since charge started.
100% recommended, as a EV User, and as an engineer involved with the IET wiring regulations, as well as an electrician for the last 45 years." - Anonymous
