🥩⚖️ New Installation Completed at New Eltham Butchers! ⚖️🥩

Another great upgrade completed, this time at New Eltham Butchers, helping bring their retail and catering operation together in one connected system.

We installed:
✔️ 2 × Avery Berkel XTi420 touchscreen scales
✔️ Linked with their existing Avery Berkel XTi100
✔️ Dimension Pro managing the operation
✔️ Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) integrated into the setup
✔️ A connected solution supporting both retail and catering

With Dimension Pro running the show, products, pricing and scale information can be managed centrally, while the Avery Berkel scales handle the day-to-day weighing, labelling and transactions.

For their catering side, Dimension Pro also provides the tools to manage customer orders, individual customer pricing and invoicing – helping reduce paperwork and make wholesale order processing much easier.

The ESLs add another level of automation, making it quicker to keep prices around the shop updated and reducing the need to manually replace paper tickets.

It's a great example of what we do at South Coast Systems: Avery Berkel scales, Dimension Pro, ESLs, retail and catering all working together rather than as separate systems.

🥩🚀 Major Multi-Site Installation Completed at Mercers Meats! 🚀🥩

Luke and Paul have completed a fantastic new installation for Mercers Meats, bringing their retail and wholesale operations together with Avery Berkel X Pro and Dimension Pro.

This was a great project with the system configured around exactly how the customer wanted to work.

At the main site we installed:

✔️ 4 × Avery Berkel X Pro with 13.3" touchscreens
✔️ Linerless printers with autocutters
✔️ Scanners
✔️ 80mm network receipt printer
✔️ Dimension Pro installed on a dedicated micro computer
✔️ Monitor and keyboard, all fitted neatly to the customer's requirements

We also installed 3 additional scales across their wholesale unit and two SPAR retail counters.

The important part is that these aren't separate systems. We've connected the different locations using VPNs managed by South Coast Systems, allowing everything to communicate with Dimension Pro.

This gives Mercers Meats a much more joined-up way of working:

✅ Central product and price management
✅ Retail and wholesale operations connected together
✅ Linerless printing for flexible label lengths and less backing-paper waste
✅ Easier management across multiple locations
✅ Improved consistency between sites

Another complete installation finished by Tom, this time at Goddards of Norfolk, bringing their serving, labelling and shop-floor pricing together with Avery Berkel and Dimension Pro.

What we installed:
