A huge thank you to everyone that came along to our social last night to celebrate 15 years since opening the studio!

We had around 40 people come along, models, photographers and other creatives, lots of our regulars and great to meet some new faces as well :)

I'm not sure we'll manage another 15 years, but hopefully our 20 year anniversary bash will be just as good.

Hello all. We've got some event updates for you for April.

Firstly, we're celebrating 15 years of Trident Studio with an open-invite social on April 2nd.

And then we have some events with spaces remaining...

Friday 10th: Erica Mulkern porfolio builder (1 space left)
Saturday 11th: Erica Mulkern portfolio builder (3 spaces left)
Sunday 12th: Work 1-2-1 with Erica Mulkern on your own shoot concepts, hourly slots just £80, 2 hours for £155.
Monday 13th: Olga Solo portfolio builder (1 space left)
Saturday 25th: Irida S portfolio builder (2 spaces left)

Trident Studio turns 15! 🎉

On 2nd April (6pm - 10pm) we're opening the studio for a relaxed social evening to celebrate 15 years since we first opened the doors.

If you're a photographer, model, make-up artist or part of the creative industry, you're very welcome to come along.

The studio will be open to shoot in throughout the evening, or just come along for a drink and a chat with other creatives. No pressure to shoot or model - it's all very informal.

Free to attend
Soft drinks provided (feel free to bring anything else you'd like)

Trident Studio Residency
One photographer residency space has become available at Trident Studio in Plymouth for any photographers that are looking to get regular, unlimited studio access for a fixed, low monthly fee.

With our introductory offer, it's just £90 per month for the first 3 months, the same rate that we charge for 3 hours of studio hire!

This is by far the best equipped studio for hire in the South West.

Christmas Mini Photo Sessions!
Spaces are selling fast on the mini sessions that Honey Blush Photography is running at Trident Studio this year!

We have just 1 weekend available to offer these, November 8th and 9th. And you can book in today for just a £29 deposit to secure your slot.

Whether you're a couple, a family, just want some Christmas pics of your children - or even bring along your fur baby and create some memorable photos this festive season!

You'll get a 30 minute session against the huge corner set that we're creating, with a beautifully decorated tree and range of props to set the mood. After the session, you will choose your 5 favourite images to have a light retouch, and all this is just £99 total!

*** New kit alert! ***
We're very happy with the upgrade to our LED continuous/video lighting this week. With the arrival of 3x NanLite FS-300B (bi-colour) and 2x NanLite FS-300C (full colour RGB) heads.

Loads of power, quiet running at 100% brightness and absolutely silent at 50%. Lots of special effects on both types of light, precise control over both colour and dimming, no hot-spots. Just awesome :)

It's something we've wanted to upgrade for a while, as the fan noise on our old lights wasn't great when recording audio. Not an issue any more!

Full app control (NanLink), which is set up on the studio tablet.

Today, we are celebrating 14 years since opening Trident Studio!

Between our team, we offer everything from newborn and maternity photos through to model portfolio packages and commercial photography and videography.

This is an amazing space to get creative and we have all of the lighting toys to make your images that little bit more special, whether you're booking us for your session or simply hiring the studio space :)
