Another stunning transformation completed by 100% Stainless Ltd 👌🏼

This complete balcony replacement has taken an end-of-life timber structure and transformed it into a modern, long-lasting installation featuring a full marine grade 316 stainless steel framework, composite decking, and a stunning Pure Vista Ltd glass balustrade system.

A few more projects ticked off the list!! 👌🏼

From frameless Pure Vista Ltd glass balustrades to bespoke stainless steel balustrades, handrails and so much more in between, the last couple of months have been absolutely non-stop. There genuinely aren’t enough hours in the day at the moment to showcase everything we’ve been undertaking lately 😅

Then on top of all that, with only 4 weeks to go until the Plymouth Motor Show, every spare evening is being poured into the F100 build… and it’s really starting to come together now 🔥

Time will tell if it’s going to be completed on time but we’re loving every minute of it all the same 💪🏼

Even Rusty was helping with our Log delivery for Torvale 🤣🤣

A few more stunning projects completed and signed off ✅

From a couple of internal Pure Vista Ltd frameless glass balustrades — with one featuring a sleek stainless steel capping with matching stair handrail, and another combining stainless steel with a beautiful oak dowel handrail for a striking contrast👌🏼

Then making the most of the beautiful weather we also completed an external frameless glass balustrade, finished with a square stainless steel profile top cap rail, giving it a clean, modern finish built to last.

Then not forgetting a small stainless steel deck balustrade along with a face fixed step balustrade, both with 10mm toughened glass infills giving the safety and look the client required.

Attention to detail, precision installation, and quality craftsmanship every step of the way 🔥

Rant inbound!! 😡

When someone says, “I know a mate of a mate who can do it cheaper…” there’s usually a reason why! 🤣

Unfortunately, we’re seeing more and more cases like this lately where people/companies are cutting corners — and then we’re the ones called in to put it right 🙈

This section of frameless glass balustrade had supposedly been “installed properly”… but honestly, it may as well have just been resting there.

When it comes to structural glass and safety, there’s no shortcut for doing the job properly. Attention to detail, correct installation, and experience matter.

Lloyd and Luke removed the existing balustrade, made everything good and then went about installing it as it should of been done to start with, drilling right down through the block work and setting in 300mm long M10 studs, then fitting the new Pure Vista Ltd channel and reinstalling the existing glass and handrail, never to be done again!!

Do it right, or don’t do it at all. 🤷🏼‍♂️

We love the jobs that push things that little bit further — keeps it interesting and keeps us sharp 💪🏼

This one in Plympton was a proper standout… a fully bespoke curved handrail, starting life as a simple copper pipe template and then transformed into a stainless steel work of art 😍

Not only does it do the job and keep our client safe, it absolutely looks the part too 👌🏼 Built to last and made to fit perfectly — exactly how we like it.

F100 photo bomb! 😅

Just a quick update for everyone who’s been asking and following the build 👀

Evenings and weekends are still full-on with the Ford F100 1953 project — plenty of fabrication going on and a lot of learning as we go. It’s completely new territory for us, so it’s been a mix of big leaps forward… and yeah, a few steps back along the way 😅

That said, it’s really starting to come together now and we’re buzzing with how it’s shaping up 💪🏼 Still a fair bit to do though, so whether it’ll be ready for the Plymouth Motor Show… we’ll have to wait and see 😬🤞🏼

🔥 Workshop Wednesday – Where It All Began 🔥

Hey everyone — today’s Workshop Wednesday is a very special one… and one that means more to me than any job we’ve ever completed.

Because this isn’t just about work.
This is about where it all started.

My mum and dad & family mean everything to me… and I can honestly say, hand on heart — I would not be where I am today without them.

My dad, Tony Johnson, now 93 and mum 83, has just handed down his old Oxford oil-cooled arc welder. 💛

To most, it’s just a machine… but to me, it represents a lifetime of lessons.

Nearly 50 years ago, as a young boy of only 6 years old, I stood beside him in his workshop looking up at him as a super hero as he taught me how to weld.
Not just how to run a bead — but how to take pride in what you do… how to do things properly… and how to never cut corners.

From then on I’d spend hours in that workshop building all sorts of weird and wonderful things — making noise, blowing fuses, probably driving the whole street mad with the flickering lights as I consumed the energy supply! 😂

But looking back now… those were the moments that built everything.

The skills I use every day.
The standards we stand by.
The mindset behind

And behind all of that…
Is my mum and dad which we’re all so grateful & fortunate to still have beside our side ❤️

The support. The encouragement. The belief — even when things weren’t easy.
