We have a vacancy within our Plymstock based heating and air-conditioning team. After training, successful candidates will install and repair our specialist equipment in boats, motorhomes, trucks and ambulances. Our engineering team also provide technical expertise to our customers in person, over the ‘phone and by email, and assist with product development.
We are open to applicants looking to come into engineering at an entry level as well as those with experience who may be looking to get into management. What we do is very specialised, we do not expect candidates to have relevant experience. Successful applicants would receive training by shadowing our accredited and extremely experienced team members.
Work is likely to include workshop servicing, visiting ambulance stations, installations, repairs & servicing at marinas and boatbuilders, working in an extremely clean and tidy way onboard customers’ boats and motorhomes and servicing & repairing catering vehicles.
Although training will be provided, candidates may have experience or an interest in auto electrics, vehicle air conditioning, motorhomes or boats.
Previous experience will have a bearing on the package offered to the successful candidates, it is envisaged that as experience is gained and advancement made, so pay would increase with a first review after six months.
We are a small family-owned company established in 2001. The right candidate would work towards an F-Gas certificate and supplier accreditation (not transferable). All members of staff, when they are available, are expected to assist with office tasks and packing goods for shipment to our customers. 20 days holiday per annum, 5 days of which are taken over the Christmas period.
