This upgrade not only makes charging more convenient but also ensures it's done in a sustainable, eco-friendly way.

We're proud to take another step towards reducing our carbon footprint and contributing to a greener future. The excess renewable energy is going back into the grid.

It’s Peterhead Scottish Week – and AM Campbell Electricians are thrilled to play our part.

Alongside our sister company, Jbs, we had the honour of sponsoring the incredible RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team for an unforgettable evening at West Links Peterhead.

A packed crowd was there, cheering them on and soaking up the amazing atmosphere.

Installation of a 3 phase distribution board at the ASCO base in Peterhead. This supplies an HVO fuel tank and pump. HVO is a biofuel alternative to traditional diesel produced by hydroheating hydrogen to saturate unsaturated vegetable oils, animal fats or cooking waste oil.

The distribution board is supplied by a 16mm 5 core cable which was buried into a duct.

AM Campbell's supplied and installed the complete assembly to include the exterior protection cabinet.

AM Campbell electricians are delighted to be a learning partner with Peterhead Academy. We had a total of 10, S3 pupils, working with our qualified electricians to wire a lighting and socket circuit at our premises in Peterhead. Each team of two S3 pupils worked with a qualified AMC electrical engineer to install and test the system to include fuse box, lights, conduit, cables and trunking. At the end of the installation, members of family attended "the big switch on" which was a complete success.

The pupils enjoyed the experience, conducted over 8 weeks and learned valuable skills in a working environment.

This is a continuous partnership between AMC and Peterhead Academy and we are looking forward to working with next years S3 pupils in 2026.

Engineering is about innovation and tackling challenges head-on – values we champion every day at AM Campbells.

Through the Peterhead Academy Learning Partnership, developed with Aberdeenshire Council, we’ve had the privilege of sharing these values with the next generation.

Over the past few weeks, 10 Peterhead Academy pupils joined AM Campbells and our sister company JBS, at our South View facility. Together, they designed and built a fully operational screw conveyor, gaining hands-on experience in engineering – from concept to completion – while developing critical thinking and teamwork skills.

The project culminated in a celebratory ‘big switch-on,’ attended by parents, showcasing the pupils’ dedication and achievements. Our teams thoroughly enjoyed sharing their knowledge with the pupils, who were engaged, committed and a pleasure to work with.

We’re excited to confirm that AM Campbells and JBS will take part in this fantastic initiative again next year, continuing to inspire future engineers.
