𝗝𝗯𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗻𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸

Jbs are pleased to announce the award of a new contract to deliver cable deburial and reburial services at a 1080MW, 72-turbine, offshore wind farm in Danish waters.

Following the successful completion of a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) at our Peterhead headquarters last week, our Sea Axe Controlled Flow Excavation (CFE) equipment has been mobilised alongside our Ancillary Jetting System (AJS) in preparation for offshore operations.

Jbs team leaders are now onsite to undertake pre-operational activities and will be joined by colleagues prior to the vessel sailing to the worksite.

Leveraging our extensive CFE experience and proven technology, the team will safely expose the buried cable to facilitate planned works before reburial.

This project is ideally suited to the capabilities of our Sea Axe CFE system, further demonstrating its effectiveness in supporting complex subsea cable intervention and protection scopes within the offshore wind sector.

CFE work will be completed from two DP2 vessels: phase 1 using a cable-laying vessel, and phase 2 carried out from a trenching and offshore support vessel.

Now, following the completion of a new media gantry for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club, sport can be added to that list.

It was particularly pleasing to receive this feedback from the club:

𝗝𝗯𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿-𝗕𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

Jbs has designed and manufactured a DNV-approved four-bay skip station for an offshore project in Suriname.

Following fabrication at our facility in Peterhead, the station was fitted with client-specific equipment and systems.

The completed solution enables four skips to be operated efficiently within a compact offshore deck footprint, maximising the use of available space while meeting the client’s operational requirements.

It's great to see one of our Sea Axe CFE systems mobilising today for an upcoming work scope, quite literally on our doorstep

We are delighted to be working with a valued repeat client, on this key infrastructure project for the Northeast of Scotland.

Jbs are providing subsea excavation, using both our standard and jetting systems, and will be working off the coast of our home port, Peterhead.

As part of the wider scope, our qualified welders also completed the sea fastenings, ensuring the equipment was securely mounted and prepared for safe offshore transportation.
