Got the call at 10:30am to help the Marina Bay lads secure their pontoon after the high winds battered the North East — getting it stabilised before any serious damage was caused to local boats.

Welded on new pad eyes and secured the pontoons back together 🌬️⚓

Job sorted — and on the way out spotted a local lad who’d beached his motor and needed a hand, so we got him safely back on his way 👍

We’re always on hand for emergency welding repairs and fabrication across Peterhead, Fraserburgh and further afield — whether it’s pontoons, vessels, structural steel or urgent fabrication.

We’re proud to announce the opening of our new Fraserburgh yard, expanding our repair services and capabilities within Fraserburgh Harbour.

Our workshop is based at the heart of the shiplift, strengthening our business and improving the support we can offer our customers across all marine industries. A big thank you to all our customers for the continued trust and support — it’s greatly appreciated.

This expansion works alongside our fully operational Peterhead yard, giving us greater coverage and faster response across Peterhead and Fraserburgh harbour.

We will soon be welcoming CVs from welders and fabricators for upcoming opportunities.

💙🧡 SAIL WITH SANTA - HEARTFELT THANKS 🧡💙

As the harbour quiets again and the decorations are packed away, we have taken a moment to really let this weekend sink in. Sail with Santa was something truly special and it only happened because of the people who stood behind it.

Nearly 200 children came down to the harbour to experience the magic. The excitement, the belief, the smiles and the wonder on their faces will stay with us for a very long time. Creating memories like that for local families is something we are incredibly proud of.

Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of our supporters, sponsors and volunteers, we raised an incredible ✨✨✨£5,116.06 ✨✨✨over the weekend. That figure represents kindness, community spirit and real support for the lifesaving work of the RNLI. We could not be more grateful.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been nominated by Allan Stephen of Peterhead FieldWeld Services to receive a generous donation from Muir Mhór Offshore Wind Farm.

Allan won the first round of Muir Mhór’s safety initiative, “See it, share it, support it”, which is running throughout the marine growth campaign. His card was selected at random, and he kindly chose Men United to receive £1,000.

It was a pleasure for Peterhead Fieldweld to help out with the shelving for RNLI Peterhead with there new container. We’re always glad to support the local station and the volunteers who give up their time to keep our community safe.

Great to hear the setup is already making a difference.

Massive thank you goes to Peterhead Fieldweld for fabricating and installing this custom shelving for our new storage container. Another massive thank you goes to P.B.P for donating the paint. A special mention to Finnie 4x4 who supplied the container, the process was flawless. Having a small station, we have always struggled with storage. This container will allow us to store items appropriately, making the station a safer and clutter free environment for our volunteers 😀
