Rhodri Lorenz from Lely Center Midlands completed his Accredited Category 3 Technician. As part of MSTA Technician's week we have asked Rhodri how he feels he has benefitted from doing the qualification...
''I'm a lot more confident as an engineer. When I'm on farm I can consider other things about the farmers cows, not just the robots, I see the bigger picture.
It has really benefitted me as a technician. Opened my eyes to milking techniques and principles. It covered a lot more detail about cow health and how the effect milking equipment can have on them. I can sign off work which red tractor are looking for.''
It needs to be pushed a lot more to all technicians.''
