We’re Hiring: Assistant Production Manager

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and practical Assistant Production Manager to join the STORM team.

Working alongside our Production Managers, you’ll help deliver a wide variety of live events, supporting projects from initial brief through to onsite delivery and final reconciliation. From coordinating crew, suppliers and logistics to supporting event builds and managing onsite activity, you’ll play a key role in bringing projects to life.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in live events, technical production or event operations who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear path towards becoming a Production Manager.

We were delighted to transform Canva’s London offices for the NatWest Thrive Sisterhood Pitch Night.

Working across branding, scenic elements and technical production, our team helped create an environment that felt every bit as inspiring as the entrepreneurs taking to the stage. Through STORM IMPRESS , we designed and produced a range of event branding, including large-format 3D print and floor vinyls, while STORM Digital Displays delivered digital touchpoints throughout the venue. Combined with lighting, sound reinforcement and technical production from the STORM Events team, the result was a fully immersive event experience.

The evening brought together 18 young women from across the UK to pitch business ideas tackling social, environmental and economic challenges as part of the Sisterhood Summer entrepreneurship programme, delivered in partnership with NatWest Thrive.

A fantastic project to be involved with and a great example of how creative design, technology and production can come together to transform a venue and elevate an event experience.

Behind the scenes of another successful investor and press results broadcast.

Live audio was delivered using the Yamaha DM7, with a DPA 2017 shotgun microphone providing natural, intelligible speech for both in-room participants and remote audiences. Great teamwork and meticulous preparation helped ensure a smooth production from start to finish.

Proud to support Boston Rugby Club with their end of season presentations over the past month 🏉

Three events across minis, juniors and colts – all about recognising the players and giving the club something to be proud of.

A big shoutout to Reece from our warehouse, who made this one happen. He coaches the U11s in the minis section and wanted to put this event together for his team — making it one of his first events Reece has delivered and for the club he’s part of week in, week out.

Backed it up with one of our “eco set” systems showcasing club sponsors, plus stage, audio, screens and lighting to bring the night together.

Always great to support grassroots sport — especially when it starts from within the team.
