Full job description

Job roll: Mobile agricultural/plant engineer

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Monday – Friday (Permanent Position)

Immediate Start

Due to a growth within the business, we are seeking a skilled Plant Fitter for the workshop. This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable company that offers career growth.

The Role

Repair a range of plant and agricultural equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Perform servicing and general repairs.
Diagnose and find faults.
Conduct inspections and maintenance checks.
Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Work independently and as part of a small team.
Follow safety and housekeeping standards in the workshop
Log and keep records of work carried out and complete daily job sheets.
What we need from you:

Experience working with plant and agricultural machinery, (diggers, dumpers, excavators tractors etc)
Knowledge of mechanical, electric, and hydraulic diagnostics, servicing and repairs.
Good communication skills.

This is a hands-on position helping to keep our busy workshop and yard clean and tidy. You’ll be supporting our engineering team by maintaining a safe and organised workspace.

A good attitude and strong work ethic

Willingness to work as part of a small, friendly team

Someone who takes pride in keeping things clean and orderly
