A lovely project we’ve just finished, a Lancia Fulvia 1300, completed to the owner’s brief with a mix of sympathetic upgrades and a thorough round of fettling to make it look right, drive right, and feel properly sorted.
Work carried out included:
- Twin Weber DCOE 40 carb conversion
- Complete new exhaust system
- Overhaul of the brakes
- Chrome bumpers removed for a cleaner look
- New wheels and tyres
- Mazda MX-5 seats fitted
- New steering wheel with a custom-made boss
- New interior carpets and sound deadening applied
- DAB radio install, done to keep a factory-style appearance
- Plus plenty of other small repairs and niggles dealt with along the way
These are brilliant little cars, and it’s always satisfying to see one leave the workshop feeling tight, responsive, and ready to be used.
