Welcome and Service Assistant / East Pool Mine
Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of 3 colleagues and 15 volunteers working at East Pool Mine, which is a mining site within the West Cornwall portfolio. East Pool Mine is one of the National Trust's Small Properties, and so everything we do keeps us close to our visitors, partners, and local community. We offer person-lead tours only so the successful candidate will need to be energetic, out going, and flexible with their tasks. In this tiny team there are many opportunities to make a real difference, and shine.
Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.

Visitor Experience Officer / West Cornwall Mining Sites
Being a Visitor Experience Officer for the National Trust is all about people – connecting with them, inspiring them, and making sure they have the best possible day when they come to visit.
At our mining sites in West Cornwall we have an important role to play in the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site sharing the internationally significant story of our places, including delivery of tours and inclusion on the duty manager rota. Celebrating Cornish distinctiveness is an important element of our work.
The role will be largely based at East Pool Mine but also includes responsibility for marketing work (including social media) across all our mining sites and occasional working out of Levant Mine and Botallack.
