This year saw an incredible 144 letters posted to Santa through our little red letterbox - thank you to all the local kids and parents who trusted us with delivering them to the North Pole and for all donations made to the Renfrewshire Food Giveaway.

We are now closed for the festive period - we wish everyone a very merry Christmas and will be back on Monday 5th January for all your lifting needs!

Thank you for your continued support in 2025 and we look forward to working with you in 2026!

It’s that time of year again ❄️☃️🎄

Maybe a little bit earlier than usual this year - was hoping that nobody would notice but I’ve already had the “for goodness sake Abbie it’s getting earlier and earlier every year” from one of Scotia’s many bahumbugs 🫢

Our Letters to Santa box is now up 🎅🏽

To try and spread a little bit of Christmas magic for the kids in our community we will send a personalised letter from Santa back to anyone who posts their letter to Santa in our little postbox 📮

**PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE A RETURN ADDRESS ON THE LETTER/ENVELOPE FOR US TO SEND THE LETTER BACK TOO**

This year marks ten years since John and Rosie became directors, and it’s prompted us to reflect on just how much has changed — and how much we’ve achieved.

The past decade has brought lots of change, from introducing new digital systems to navigating challenges like Brexit, Covid, and rising costs. But through it all, there’s been plenty of laughter, teamwork, and determination.

As a family-run small business, we’re proud of the role we play in our industry and in our community. Looking back to the Company’s incorporation in 1973, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come — and how the values that built this company still drive us today.

Over 50 years of lifting experience is something we’re proud to celebrate, but it’s our people — past and present — who remain our greatest strength.

Here’s to the next 50 years of safe, reliable lifting!

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN 🎅🏽🎄

Our letters to Santa post box should be up and good to go by the end of the day! To try and keep the magic alive for the kids in Linwood (or further afield) we have a wee post box on our gate on Bridge Street in Linwood for them to post their letters to Santa. If you make sure there is a return address we will then write them a personalised letter back from Santa 🎅🏽

We had lots of letters last year, all replied to, and some kind, generous people asked about making a donation for the service so this year we have teamed up with Kickin' On - C.I.C to try and help them raise some funds for their amazing charity work in the community ♥️

Although there is absolutely no obligation to make any donations, as we know times are tough for everyone, every little helps and any donations at all are greatly appreciated 💰🫶🏽

You can donate here - https://gofund.me/a9f68b46

Or we will have a QR code on our gate beside the box to be scanned!

Merry Christmas from all at Scotia Handling Services 🎄🎅🏽❄️
