It’s ‘Murder March’ at Oundle Library … and there’s a mystery for you to solve!
Wealthy art collector, Arthur Ashworth, has been found dead in his Mayfair mansion. Was it an accident, or was it murder? There’s one body and seven suspects.
Visit the library to examine the evidence and witness statements, and gather some extra clues and hints to see if you’re clever enough to solve the case.
And while we’re on the subject of crime … the Oundle Crime book group will be meeting at the library on Friday afternoon from 2.30pm, so if you like reading crime fiction, drop in to join the chat.

‘Small Bomb at Dimperley’ by Lissa Evans is one of those books that we all sometimes feel the need to read – easy, quick, utterly charming and quite undemanding, with a wonderful cast of characters.
It’s set in Britain in 1945 as the 23-year-old protagonist comes home as Sir Valentine Vane-Thissett, after the death of his dashing war-hero older brother. The problems that face the family are enormous and how these are solved is highly entertaining.

Can you hold a conversation in Italian? Or Spanish? Or German? Oundle Library would love to add another Language Café to its timetable and if you’re fluent enough to help people to improve their conversation skills, could you run a café?
The aim is to provide a place where people can practise their language skills in a relaxed and pressure-free environment.
If the idea sounds interesting, please have a chat with a member of library staff to find out more.
