Need a temporary access solution for a dry well or wet well?

Here, Stuart Raby demonstrates the XTIRPA Guardrail in a V configuration, a portable system designed for confined space entry, fall protection and retrieval around exposed access points.

For water and wastewater teams, access requirements can change from site to site. A temporary system can provide a practical alternative to installing a permanent base where regular or occasional access is required.

The setup brings together three core components, combined with a SAVER and WINCH to provide a complete entry and recovery arrangement.

The V configuration provides a useful footprint where space around the access point is limited, or the site layout calls for a more flexible setup.

When working around tanks, vessels and other exposed entry points, getting people safely in and out can be a challenge.

Yesterday was Jeff’s last day at Globestock Safety and today, he officially starts his retirement.

Jeff Evans has been part of Globestock for 22 years, and while you probably won’t have seen him on our social media (he’s never been one for the spotlight!), he has played a huge part in what we make and the people who rely on our equipment every day.

As a machinist, Jeff has made an incredible number of components over the years.

Just to put that into perspective, during his time with us he has produced:

• 10,255 front cases and 10,255 rear cases for 414 SAVERs
• 35 km of upper and lower legs for the GSE210 Tripod
• 7,800 heads for the GSE230 Tripod

And that's only part of the story.

So, although you may never have seen Jeff's face here before, we couldn't let his retirement pass without saying thank you.

Thank you, Jeff, for 22 years of hard work and being such an important part of the Globestock team.
