🎉 Celebrating 32 Years of Dedication at Hartwell Manufacturing
Today, we honour Carl Tomlinson, Managing Director at Hartwell Manufacturing, as he marks an incredible 32-year journey with the company—starting on the shop floor in January 1994 and rising through every role to lead as MD.
From day one, Carl exemplified the core values that define Hartwell: integrity, commitment, and unwavering passion. His leadership, cultivated from hands-on experience across every part of the business, has helped shape not only what we build, but the culture we sustain.
Over the years, Carl has led by example: mentoring colleagues, championing innovation in mechanical engineering and fabrication, and nurturing the next generation of leaders. He’s been instrumental in the company’s expansion, including new capabilities at our Ecclesfield site in Sheffield, and further embedding our reputation for quality in Ossett, West Yorkshire.
Beyond the workplace, Carl is family first—married to Heidi, and together they’re the proud parents of three children and their dog Pablo. His warmth and generosity extend far beyond the workshop.
Carl, we salute you not only for your tenure, but for everything you’ve built: a legacy of craftsmanship, community, and leadership. Here’s to the next chapter—and many more milestones ahead!
