Unfortunately we've received calls, emails and messages in our absence, but alas, we only have limited internet on our well earned holiday.... So as it's been hot at home, we understand the downside of coating in the heat!! 🥵 So I thought of you as this would cool you down until or return next week's rain!!! ☹️

A very well deserved break!!!
We're closed from COP tomorrow for a well deserved holiday!! For once, we'll literally not have any internet access until our return on the 29th....
I'll start to look at messages from Tuesday the 2nd June as we're collecting our long awaited 'new toy' which will allow us to improve our throughput, which is desperately needed!!!

So I'll leave you with this one!!

What a turn in direction!!!
We keep being questioned on our lead time and why are we in excess of 6 weeks!! This is why, the cold strip revolution....
We delivered 3 cold tanks, LEV's and 2 wheel racks last week, this is part of the current workload of cold tanks, with a further 2 bodies out of shot. But that's not all... We've 7 acid bunds, 3 washbooths and 9 wheel racks on order!!
But as ever, we're not sitting on our laurels!!! Our new, improved cold strip tank is out on test where I'll be working very closely with the site to identify any potential system or workflow improvements for inclusion the next version.
Finally are our wheel racks which are, as ever, over engineered to provide years of loyal service.
Other than that, I'm working with our 'now' friends at the 3d specialists testing new materials for our powder vortexing tips. We've now a selection of foam tips with others due next week as we're testing the new website ready for launch after our holiday (21 to 28th May)
Other developments when I've a minute 😆 are aimed at increasing our ability to increase what we can do internally as I'm testing the first of 3 different types of lasers with the second due in the next couple of weeks!!

Other than that, it's pretty quiet!!!

Another product getting ready for wider extended testing!

After many hours of development, many, many changes I now seem to be getting improved transfer efficiency!! Other 3d parts developers do the 'magic' further back in the powder journey, my belief has always been to do it in the tip... So I'll let you decide!!!

I've a few ideas for powder delivery (standard slit, cross etc) then I'll get a few out to our testers for a wider cross section of items to gain further understanding of powder adhesion.

Currently developed for the Wagner gun with Sames to follow and I'd like to find a shop that coats complex parts etc

NEW OPENING TIMES
As of Tuesday 7th April our opening times will be as follows:

Monday to Thursday 8am to 6pm

This will also include any Phone (office or mobile), WhatsApp, Messenger or text messages either through Hilian, or direct to myself personally.

Unfortunately, these times will not be compromised or changed, but if the phone might be inadvertently answered by not knowing the number, you will be asked to call back during normal office hours.

On an order front, we are currently running at 6 to 7 weeks lead times on tanks etc.

Vac tip update....
All I seem to do these days is apologise for delays!!! However, I found an issue while post processing the rubber tips and had to work with the 3d print company to refine the stages and yes, the blend had to be tweaked!!
Although all is not lost, I still have testers with the latest set of trial tips arriving in America!!!
I even visited a customer last week to see the particular wheels he has to do in 2 tone, so as a result of that visit, I'm designing a specific tip as I aim to give quality products (as always) which have been worked with you guys so you can have the tools to do your job, but more so, increase your prices with the special effects you all love to do!!

I'm back onto the new website (for 3d bits) in the morning, as as soon I'll have 2 new products for release as we've been in today and I'm buzzing to bring you these pieces!!
This is the update from the American custom shop, so if you're using either the Coasters, or Powder Coating Tools kits, you know where to come!! As I'm aiming for the American market!!

We had the pleasure of Dan Hedley calling in today as we're pleased to be partnering with him in his new powder coating venture.
After a good chat, we showed Dan some of our current products, as well a few I'm currently working on and this is one of our new foam covered tips for our vac kit, which must have impressed him as that's on his list!!

Accept responsibility!!!
I've been to yet another tank today and I'd love to know how chemical companies think this is acceptable!!!! These guys pay over inflated prices for a product that doesn't work as this magical Eutopia they sold it as!!! Single sheets my a£3e!!
All the while, they sit in their offices, blaming dirty wheels, brake dust or absolutely ANY excuse rather than visiting them and accepting, they have a problem with their chemical!!!

I already knew, but visits like this substantiate the fact we've taken more calls from 'naffed off' hot strip users in the past month than total for the previous 6 months!!

We'd like to thank all our customers and friends for their support over the past year, especially as it's had it's challenging times!! But we are confident, that 2026 will be more exciting, especially with the exciting products due for release in Q1.

DECEMBER OPENING TIMES
We will be closed from Friday November 28th until Monday 15th December.

We are then open from Monday 15th December until Friday 19th December as we then close until Monday 5th January 2026!!
