Today's a sad day here at Oldham Engine Parts. As many of you will know Tony has been with us for the last 15 years!! He was only supposed to be here for 6 weeks to help us out 🤣. He's been a vital part of Oldham Engines and a friendly face to most of our customers. But today was Tony's last day with us as he's moving on to become a firefighter. We all wish him the best of luck and we know your going to do great! It's going to be quiet round here now with no singing or shouting 🤣🤣.

When you get to geek out!!! When you get a phone call off Adam Beard Twin Engine Corsa saying we have the opportunity to put 2 Swindon vauxhall xe heads together and look over them both and one being a reverse Swindon head and the other off chassis number 1 Cavalier!!!! Of course all work stops and we fully geek out for the afternoon! The differences are pretty unbelievable to be honest. So the day has finally come!! We have been waiting for over a year for today. Our brand new S85A is here. This is the best on the market for resurfacing heads, blocks manifolds etc. Aluminium, cast iron etc!
All cnc programming with linear slideway, multiple spindle and traverse speeds.
With the demand nowadays the perfect surface finish is vital for the best headgasket sealing. This machine will do it with ease. Programme in the amount you want to remove walk away, come back and its done!!
We are all super happy and can't wait to get to grips with it.
I apologise in advance we will be spamming social media with the latest videos of it in action!

Not posted in a while. Just finished this one off today for one of our good customers. Volkswagen golf 2.0 tfsi sporting all the goodies. This is now built for some good numbers. Cylinders were all honed with ultra fine stones allowing for a faster bedding in process. Block face decked with CBN insert for a perfect surface finish for the mls head gasket. Customer bought the pistons with ceramic crowns, ACL race bearings, ARP hardware.

Another vauxhall z20 finished off just before Christmas. This had alot of work done to it. Ported, polished, combustion chamber smoothed and measured. Gs valves +1mm oversized valves. Reprofiled cams to go with a solid lifter kit. This is going on a astra van and looking for some good numbers, so hopefully this will help.
