When faced with a blind glazing replacement over a façade vestibule, clear communication and experienced lift supervision made all the difference.

GGR Group supported with the replacement of two externally glazed units on the front entrance façade of a popular airline’s corporate office.

With the crane operator’s view restricted by the glass canopy and vestibule, constant radio communication between the GGR crane operator and lift supervisor helped keep the lift controlled throughout.

Using a URW-706 Mini Spider Crane and MRT4 Glass Vacuum Lifter, the team worked alongside Glass Aftercare’s abseilers to complete the replacement safely and efficiently.

3 ways we made this lift safer.

World Day for Safety & Health at Work is a good reminder that the right lifting approach makes all the difference on site.

Faced with a first-floor install through a restricted opening, we used the Libro 12000 Overhang Beam to reduce risk by:

🔹 Positioning the load accurately through the aperture
🔹 Keeping the crane in a stable external lifting position
🔹 Maintaining full control during final placement

Because safer lifts are not just about compliance, they come from choosing the right equipment from the start.
