Due to continued growth, Able Lorry Loaders is excited to offer a new opportunity for a Parts and Warranty Controller to join our expanding team in Oldham. About Us
Able Lorry Loaders is a HIAB Authorised Service Centre (ASC) in the UK. Our highly skilled engineers specialise in diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and conducting compliance testing (including LOLER, TE, and TXG). We work with leading lorry loader brands such as HIAB, Multilift, Moffett, Effer, Jonsered, and Loglift, delivering high-quality service to our customers.
The Role
As a Parts and Warranty Controller, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our parts and warranty processes. You will support both the service and warranty functions, helping to maintain high service standards and minimise downtime for customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Process parts orders accurately and efficiently, providing estimated times of arrival (ETAs) to the service team, particularly for crane VOR (Vehicle Off Road) situations
* Monitor and maintain stock levels, working closely with depot management to ensure critical parts are always available
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised parts storage area
* Manage warranty returns and liaise with engineers to ensure all required items are received
* Support the Warranty Manager in processing warranty claims
Requirements
* Previous experience in the motor trade or a similar environment is desirable, but not essential
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Salary & Benefits
* Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
* 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with length of service
