Inspiring the Next Generation of Engineers at Greenford Engineering Centre.

Local students recently visited Greenford Engineering Centre, where our teams maintain and repair the traction motors that keep Transport for London’s Tube network running.

Their mission? To see real-world engineering and understand how our local repairs play a vital role in keeping the network efficient and sustainable.

Organised by Youth Careers Collective and delivered through SEGROplc’s Community Investment Programme, the students came prepared, asking thoughtful questions and showing potential.

As a Rubix company, we operate across Europe while staying deeply rooted in the communities we serve. Our teams’ expertise and local knowledge deliver technical, tailored support, and initiatives like this allow us to inspire the next generation of engineers while demonstrating our social impact.

Starting a new job is a big moment. Being diagnosed with cancer weeks later changes everything.

Today is World Cancer Day, which exists to raise awareness of just how many people across the UK and around the world have their lives changed by a cancer diagnosis, often when they least expect it.

One of our colleagues, Anna, shared her story of being diagnosed with breast cancer shortly after starting her new role at ERIKS UK&I. At a time when so much felt uncertain, one thing didn’t have to be: the support around her at work.
