Adams & Sons are recruiting a full time car valeter/detailer to join our friendly team in Morcott, Rutland (LE15 9DL).

Ideally you will be from a valeting background with prior experience. The door is open to candidates willing to learn a new career as onsite training is available. This post is only specific to our used car operation, service washes are not required.

If you have a great work ethic, keen eye for detail and willing to work at pace in a secure company this could be the job for you!

Competitive rates of pay dependent on experience with a Monday to Friday working week and 28 days holiday entitlement.

Due to continued growth, we are excited to welcome a new employee to join our esteemed team as a Car Valeter/Detailer. This is solely a car sales valeting position; no service washes will be required of you.


The ideal candidate –
• Experienced in a similar valeting role, preferably within vehicle retail.
• A keen eye for detail. Valeting cars to a high standard throughout within a reasonable and prompt time frame.
• Knowledge on paint correction and machine polishing desirable, however not essential as training can be offered.
• Good team player, working alongside existing valet team.
• Understand the correct equipment and cleaning products to clean cars effectively.
• Organised and competent in learning new processes
• Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
A typical day will involve liaising with the sales department discussing the day/week plan. Reporting any cosmetic defects spotted on sales vehicles. Valeting new stock for photographs and sold cars to be collected. Ensuring the valet bay is well stocked with the relevant chemicals and equipment. Checking vehicles are valeted correctly before customer collection.

This position is a full time, permanent role consisting of a 5 day working week Monday to Friday. Overtime is available should you wish to top up your piggy bank with the odd Saturday shift! Our opening hours are 8:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-12:30pm.
Package includes £20,000 per annum, pension scheme, 30 days annual holiday entitlement (including bank holidays), discount car repairs for you and family members including one free MOT per year.

We are excited to welcome a new employee to join our family run, friendly business as a Forecourt Cashier in our Spar shop/Jet Fuel station.

Ideally you will be –
• Experienced in a customer facing role, preferably within the retail sector however not essential.
• Friendly, trust worthy and approachable with a good sense of humour.
• Driver’s License preferable due to our fairly remote location.
• Competent in learning new processes and systems with a good understanding of new electronic point of sale till systems.

The ideal candidate –
• Experienced in a customer facing role, preferably within the automotive sector. Retail experience within a customer facing role will be considered with full training offered.
• Possess naturally positive interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees. As well as being punctual, trustworthy and reliable.
• Hold a full UK driver’s License
• Professional and friendly telephone manor
• Competent in learning new processes and systems with a good understanding of IT
• Organised with the ability to delegate multiple tasks in a swift fashion.
A typical day will involve booking vehicles into the service dairy, taking new enquiries via telephone, in person or via email. Assisting customers with quotations for repairs required to their vehicles, booking loan cars where needed, keeping customers updated with progress reports, ordering and organising parts from numerous suppliers to the workshop, generating invoices and ensuring they are paid, communicating and organising the workshop diary to technicians. Attend department meetings and personal appraisals with the managing director.
This position is a full time, permanent role consisting of a 5 day working week with 2 Saturdays per month. Overtime is available should you wish to top up your piggy bank! Our opening hours are 8:00am-5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am-12:30pm.
