Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our business. This role is answerable to the Managing Director, and you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction is handled efficiently and with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Front-of-house duties, acting as the first point of contact for customers.
Answering incoming phone calls and handling general enquiries.
Making outbound calls to customers when required (e.g., booking work in, providing updates, arranging collections).
Managing and responding to customer emails.
Creating and processing invoices.
Packing items for dispatch and managing outgoing shipments.
Booking work in, logging customer jobs, and updating internal systems.
Arranging for work to be collected from customers, including booking courier collections.
Deliver exceptional customer service always.
General administrative support as required.
Essential Experience & Skills
Previous experience in customer service.
Previous experience creating and managing invoices.
Confident making outbound calls to customers.
Strong customer-focused attitude.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Desirable
Experience working in the automotive industry, though not essential.
Working Hours, Pay & Benefits
Monday to Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm (30 hours per week).
£12.71 per hour.
28 days holiday per annum (pro rata), inclusive of bank holidays.
PPE and uniform provided.
