Reader is one of the most established cement product developers of it's kind in the United Kingdom. The company operates from three sites in Nottinghamshire, England, fully equipped with its own production lines including its onsite research and development department for the formulation of cement products. The main facility manufactures over 6 million bags of dry-packed products per annum. While

supplying the construction, civil engineering, DIY and tunnelling industries Reader is also a long standing member of the Sprayed Concrete Association and accredited to ISO 9001:2015

Reader Cement Products Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the privately owned UK based industrial group Langley Holdings PLC.

On 20 June 2026, Reader’s Operations Manager, Jason Key’s daughter, tackled the Race for Life Pretty Muddy 5K with her teaching colleagues. Taking part for the second consecutive year, she raised funds for Cancer Research UK in support of the fight against cancer.

As an immediate family member of a Reader Cement employee, Olivia’s fundraising effort qualifies for the company’s Charity Match Scheme.

The scheme is designed to maximise the impact of employee and family fundraising activities by matching eligible donations, effectively doubling the amount raised for the chosen charity.

Reader Cement is proud to support Olivia’s commitment to this important cause and congratulates her on completing the challenge and helping to raise valuable funds for Cancer Research UK.
