JOB OPPORTUNITY- we’re on the lookout for 2-3 man gangs digging and preparing for sevice installations, gas water and electric both fresh laid and connection pits on sites based around Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire.

We will require the usual CSCS, EUSR and CPCS or NPORS for dumper, excavator etc.

Rates negotiable based on experience, van and fuel provided.

JOB OPENING *Health and Safety Advisor wanted to join our team*

For this position The Health & Safety Adviser will assist in providing ongoing health and safety support to site-based teams and operations, including the production of sire based safety plans, risk assessments and methods statements. Working closely with site management teams and client safety teams, you will monitor site safety performance ensuring compliance with up to date legislation and regulations.

Additionally, you will:

Conduct frequent site visits providing health and safety guidance whilst supporting/encouraging good site safety practice.

Perform accident / incident reports and investigations.

Support the company induction process rolling out training to new starters.

Conduct regular refresher training sessions and maintaining accurate training records.

where necessary organise and deliver health and safety meetings and training courses for employees.

Liaise with group and relevant external health and safety authorities.

Keep up to date with latest developments including legislative developments relating to health and safety at work.

Deliver onsite Tool Box Talks.

The successful applicant will be:

Passionate about Health, Safety, Environment & Quality

Be knowledgeable in construction activities

Be familiar with CDM regulations

An effective communicator at all levels with client facing experience

IT literate

NEBOSH general certificate, or equivalent

CSCS card holder

Member of IOSH

First aid training (preferable)

The Ideal candidate for us will hold a HGV class 2 licence, have a valid CPC and have at least 2 years HGV experience. We’ll be looking to deliver to our own sites in Nottinghamshire/South Yorkshire, both residential and commercial.

Unfortunately there are scammers out there using accounts and websites mimicking our sister company Rock Plant Hire Ltd to advertise and sell equipment such Dumpers, mini diggers, plant trailers and horse boxes. People are paying for the goods online and then showing to our head office looking to collect.

rockplanthire.com is a scam website and is in no way related to the Rock group of companies. They are using our address, name and good standing to rob people.

We have been in contact with trading standards and the police, but the website hasn’t been removed.

Much appreciated if anyone can share this around plant/horse groups and we’ve had around 10 people in the last week at our yard wondering where their
purchases are.
