1,500 metres of cable. 271 assemblies. 10 configurations. Delivered to multiple sites in under two weeks.

Belvoir Rail Ltd recently supported Northern with rail compliant data cable assemblies for a P*S LTE integration, using M12 X coded male and female to RJ45 connectors.

Every cable was tested prior to dispatch so the team on site could fit with confidence, helping speed up installation and reduce risk.

Reliable supply is not just getting boxes out of the door. It is making a complex job easier for the people doing it.

We are pleased to welcome Darren Whyley to Belvoir Rail as Product Support Engineer.

Darren brings valuable rolling stock and fleet engineering experience gained through roles with UK train operators, bringing knowledge of reliability, safety and fleet performance.

A big congratulations to our colleague Fitzroy Martin, who was recently awarded the Humanitarian and Emergency Services Medal in Montserrat.

Fitzroy received the medal for his outstanding service during the volcanic crisis between 1995 and 1998.

As a member of the Royal Montserrat Defence Force, he supported vital humanitarian and emergency response efforts during one of the most challenging times in Montserrat’s history.

It’s a remarkable part of his story, and a fitting recognition of his service.

Congratulations Fitzroy, a brilliant and well deserved honour.

Refurbishing the UK’s trains takes more than engineering skill. It takes reliable partners who can deliver at scale.

Belvoir Rail continues to deliver on the C6 programme awarded by Arriva TrainCare for the refurbishment of Class 170 fleets operated by East Midlands Railway and CrossCountry Trains.

Our scope of supply covers a wide range of fabricated and machined parts, painted components and fixings, delivered as complete kits to enable efficient installation.

These kits support the fitting of new draught screens and grab poles, stud partitions for bicycle storage areas, and new tip up seating among other modifications.

In total, the programme covers over 80 carriages, with scheduled deliveries through to late 2027.

Our work helps operators modernise their fleets, improve passenger experience and keep refurbishment programmes on track.

Replacing parts should not feel like throwing money away.

That was the case with an on train switch button on some East Midlands Railway units. The ageing plastic had become brittle and replacements were expensive and hard to source.

We created a better option. A new button with a PLA 3D printed base and a stainless steel top plate. Strong, reliable and still true to the original red finish.

Now it is a part that can be made available more easily and at better value helping to keep fleets moving without the hassle.
