Meet Graham Sinclair, our UK Operations Manager at NRC.

Graham oversees operations across the business, handling everything from technical projects to site work and back office management, working closely with division heads.

He came to the role after nearly 15 years in consultancy, most recently specialising in Nutrient Neutrality. He is well-versed in England's planning system, has worked with developers of all sizes, and understands how funding, finances, and credit releases should be structured to keep projects on track. This experience gives him a clear vision of NRC's growth opportunities.

An avid cyclist, Graham commutes by bike almost every day and paddle boards with his wife on weekends. The rest of his time is rarely without company...

That companion is the wonderful Marmalade. She manages snack security here at NRC. While Autumn would usually chase away intruders, Marmalade is more interested in their snacks. The rest of the day, she's lounging in Graham's office, wondering why she hasn't been fed in the last ten minutes. Graham keeps the business running. Marmalade keeps Graham moving... mainly toward her food bowl.

Meet Phoebe, our Accounts Manager.
Phoebe manages our finance department. Day-to-day, she manages invoicing, payroll, budgeting, financial reporting, supplier accounts and tax, giving the business a clear picture of where things stand. Outside of work, she's very creative, including being a poetry writer ✍ and performer, and a mixed-media landscape artist, drawing on Norfolk scenery for inspiration. 🎨

Meet Deborah, one of our team members on the end of the phone when you get in touch with us about a free septic tank upgrade.

She works alongside Sophie, keeping things moving: taking calls, answering queries, managing the servicing process, scheduling surveys, helping customers through the signing process, and making sure the paperwork all lines up.

Outside work, she's usually on two wheels, touring Norfolk on her motorcycle, Kevin, or teaching herself a new craft; sugarcraft, card-making and crochet all feature. She's also the office's unofficial biscuit supplier for the four-legged team members.

Got a question about the scheme? Register on our website and Deborah or one of her colleagues will be in touch.

When you call us about a free septic tank upgrade in Norfolk or Kent, Sophie is one of the people who'll pick up.

She's our Administration Manager, she runs the team that handles enquiries, schedules surveys, manages the paperwork, and walks customers through the whole upgrade process from first call to job done.

With over ten years of management experience and a Business Management degree, she's good at keeping things calm and clear when there's a lot going on.

Outside work, Sophie is a talented baker, and this year swapped the kitchen for Arctic skies, travelling to Tromsø to see the northern lights.

Got a question about the scheme? Register on our website and Sophie or one of her team will be in touch.

'Will I have to pay anything?' — your questions about the free upgrade scheme, answered.
❓ Will I have to pay anything upfront?
No. There is no upfront cost to qualifying homeowners.
❓ Are there any ongoing costs?
The first two years of servicing are included. A small annual service charge applies from year three.
❓ Is the installation disruptive?
Some excavation is required. The installation typically takes two to five days on site. The area will be left tidy and level, but we are not landscapers. Reseeding, turfing and replacing any plants or fencing removed during installation is the homeowner's responsibility.
❓ How is the scheme funded?
The upgrade is funded through the sale of nutrient credits to developers. There is no government grant and no cost passed to you.
