We supply modern machinery, most of which is less than three years old due to a stringent replenishment programme and select brands that our clients can rely upon. Anglian Plant Background

Joe Paterson began as a sole trade in 2008 buying and selling mini diggers. During the recession that started in 2008 many companies in the construction sector were struggling. Equipment was readily available to purchase from auction houses or direct from the companies and whilst the pound was at an all time low it made for a good export market.

In August 2009 Anglian Plant Limited was incorporated and was trading solely in used machinery sales.

In 2010 Anglian Plant Hire was formed and traded as a sole trader hiring mini diggers alongside Anglian Plant Limited, the plant sales business.

As plant sales declined due to the export markets shifting an opportunity was identified to hire equipment due to the domestic building market gaining traction. Anglian Plant Limited and Anglian Plant Hire merged (2013), both sales and hire activities would trade under Anglian Plant Limited.
