Pottinger Flexcare V6200 started off this week in some Sugar Beet drilled at 45cm row widths. A successful mechanical w**d control can reduce the use of plant protection products, and a use of mechanical and chemical plant protection can improve the effectiveness of existing PPP.

The Flexcare V6200 is fitted with an integrated hydraulic shift frame controlled by a single or dual mounted camera that recognises the individual crop rows so that operator fatigue is minimal, and allows forward speeds of up to 10kmph+.

This spec’d 12 row machine has individual hydraulic unit lift and lower and is running with 2 x 140mm w**ding shares followed by a 180mm duck foot on each unit with each units depth being fully adjustable.

Row widths and unit widths are easily adjusted with pre drilled holes for endless configurations depending on what crop is being mechanically w**ded.
