The first pair of boats out for repairs this year.
One is having the lower sides overplated due to heavy pitting, the other is having the front 10 feet of the base plate overplated,a new bow thruster tube and gas locker.

Happy new year to all. Lee and Dale will be returning to the workshop on Monday the 5th and will reply to mail and messages as soon as we can.

Well that's a wrap for this year.

We would like to wish all our wonderful customers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We shall be returning to work on the 5th of January.

2026 is looking to be another busy year which is great but if you have any work you are thinking of getting done in the new year please drop us an email with details and we shall get back to you once we return to work.

A slightly different job this week where a semi trad had rusted inside the controller console outwardly.
All the corroded areas were needle-gunned to see the extent of the issue. Then the affected areas were cut out before welding in new steel. The welded areas have been painted in a holding coat till the better weather comes back.
If you see signs of corrosion around your boat it is much better to get it sorted early before it grabs hold.

Alternatively give us a ring on 07935916998 but please don't be offended if we don't answer we spend a vast amount of time with ear defenders on during our working day as the environment is often very noisy due to grinding and air tools running which is why the email is often a better way to contact us.

Well that's the hard work completed for these two boats which are now safely back in the water ready to continue their adventures.
One has had the hull coating striped,pit welding carried out where required.
The rear counter was replaced along with a new w**d hatch and rudder tube.
Then finished off with some fresh blacking and a wash.
2nd boat which needed the chine edge replacing as it was worn into the welds making it a structural risk.
The lower sides were plated with 80mm x 6mm steel down both sides and the base was plated with 100mm x 10mm steel making for a sturdy ware edge which will last for many years to come.
Also some extra anodes fitted as requested.
Affected areas reblacked and again a after work wash down.
