We are looking for a Self-employed Welder / Steel Fabricator 👇

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Steel Fabricator to join our workshop on a self-employed basis. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication projects, taking work from technical drawings through to completed products.

The successful candidate will be skilled in steel fabrication, capable of working independently, and committed to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key responsibilities:

🔹 Fabricate and weld steel components to specification
🔹 Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings accurately
🔹 Operate workshop equipment safely and efficiently
🔹 Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship
🔹 Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

🔹 Proven experience in steel fabrication
🔹 Competent in MIG and TIG welding
🔹 Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
🔹 Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
🔹 Ability to work independently and manage own workload
🔹 Relevant trade qualifications or demonstrable industry experience
🔹 CSCS Card desirable

Additional information:

🔹 Own PPE is preferred
🔹 Full workshop facilities are provided
🔹 Potential for a permanent position for the right candidate
🔹 Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
