I was very pleased to see Ricky and Hefin Jenkins 's trouble free run at the Dixies Challenge on Sunday. 😃 A week before, the engine was in pieces for a check after the Pembrey gear selection problems. 🫣 Thank you to Knight Engine Services , first class service as always, Scott Goosey, Bob Ashfield and Neil James . A major team effort to get the engine back together in time.

Another selection of our work this month.Every process is done in house, we service Agricultural,Industrial ,Race and the garage trade, we offer 24 / 48 hr turn a round on cylinder head work and collect free of charge to trade customers.

We are looking for a full time temporary van driver to do collections and deliveries in local area and help with general cleaning duties at our workshop
Must be over 25 with a full driving licence max 3 points
Working hours
8.30 am -5 pm Monday- Thursday
8.30 am - 4 pm on Fridays
This position will be for a minimum of 4 weeks
Hourly rate £11.50

Pleased to have worked with Ian at ISJ Engineering on this project

Congratulations to Ricky and Hefin on a fantastic 43rd o/a on the Rali Ceredigion! It's the result of a massive investment by all concerned, crew, service team and engineering in the background that began before last year's event.

Though there'd been some odd troubles on the way to the finish on the recent Tour of Epynt, it was a bit of a shock to find that the block and crank weren't going to do the job again as the forward thrust washer was wiped out!

My thanks to David at Knight Engine Services for boring the new block and Chris at Chesman Motorsport for the crank balance, both at next to no notice. That got us the major parts to assemble. Also thank you to my brother Neil James. Without him, the engine wouldn't have got built in time! 😳 A remarkable story of effort continued with Rhodri collecting the engine and working all night to get it fitted and started. By last Wednesday the engine had done about 4 miles in some sort of anger!
Thanks Ricky for sticking with it! I'm delighted and proud to have made a contribution!
(Road rally spec 2.0 Zetec Blacktop with the correct Mondeo inlet and throttle body. Controlled by the MBE9A4 ECU.)

Two of our sons, Dominic and Lewis, are participating in the London Marathon in April this year.

You may know Dom; he has been in the business for over 10 years now and is our cylinder head specialist.

The charity they are raising funds for is Climb Your Mountain.

Climb Your Mountain (CYM) is a charity dedicated to helping people climb their own personal mountains by providing opportunities both physically and educationally so they can overcome challenges they may face in life. This is achieved by providing free outdoor walks, free books and counselling on Health & Wellbeing topics to improve people’s physical and mental health

The Golf is now back on the road and running like a dream. My son is very pleased with it.
